We are aware of the incident that occurred on Saturday in our TUPS community, and our thoughts are with all those impacted during this difficult time.

In coordination with Township officials, our district teams have been working behind the scenes to ensure that appropriate supports are in place for our students, staff, and families. We are grateful to our first responders and law enforcement for their care and professionalism.

We understand that situations like this can affect our students in different ways. Counselors, support staff, and members of our Mental Health Department are available to provide support as needed. Right now, please continue to have your child reach out to their counselors for any support they need.

We encourage families to check in with their children, listen, and offer reassurance. While this incident did not occur on school grounds, we recognize that its impact may still be felt within our community. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority.
