It's All About U

Mental Health Services

Welcome to the Township of Union Public Schools Mental Health Department

The Mental Health Department of the Township of Union Public Schools is dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being, resilience, and success of every student. We believe that mental health is a vital part of learning, growth, and overall development, and we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and responsive environment for our school community.

Our team works in partnership with students, families, educators, and community partners to promote wellness, provide early support, and connect individuals with appropriate resources and services. Through prevention, intervention, and ongoing care, we strive to remove barriers to learning and help students build the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

We offer a range of supports, including counseling services, crisis response, social-emotional learning initiatives, referrals to outside providers, and family guidance. We also focus on education and awareness so that students and families feel informed, empowered, and supported.

At Township of Union Public Schools, caring for the whole child is at the heart of what we do because student well-being and student success go hand in hand.
