The first week jitters are behind us, the classrooms are buzzing, and we are settling into our routines! 📚✏️

TUPS is forming a Technology Advisory Board made up of parents, guardians, community members, teachers, and staff.

The committee will help guide the District’s approach to technology use and digital health by sharing feedback, reviewing best practices, and exploring approaches used by other school districts.

🏃 Greater Union Township Mayor’s Day 5K

Lace up and join the community for the 2026 Mayor’s Day 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, September 27 at Union High School!

This year’s event is especially meaningful, as a portion of the proceeds will support Union resident Marcos Rodriguez and his family as he continues his journey toward walking again following a life changing swimming accident.

Come run, walk, cheer, and help our community support one of our own. ❤️

🚲 E Bike Riders and Families, Stay Informed!

New E-bike requirements took effect in July 2026, including important updates regarding regulations, licensing, and registration.

The Township of Union and Union Police Department encourage residents to stay up to date and put safety first. Scan the QR code on the flyer to join the NJMVC E-Bike Information Distribution List and receive important updates directly.

Montclair State University’s Autism and Neurodevelopment Lab is offering a free anxiety intervention study for autistic youth ages 8 to 14 and their caregivers. Participants will learn strategies to help manage anxiety through a 14-week program, with eligible families receiving $150 in gift card compensation and free parking.
